Fizzco have been working with local partners to help celebrate their birthdays with love. The Waterside Shopping Centre and St Barnabas have launched their Birthday and Anniversary decorations in the centre. The Centre and St Barnabas have a long-standing relationship with St Barnabas being the Waterside Charity Partner since 2018. The Waterside Centre celebrate their 30th ‘official’ birthday this year on 17th March, with St Barnabas celebrating their 40th Anniversary later in June.

Throughout 2022 both the teams at Waterside and St Barnabas will be inviting ‘all’ to help them celebrate their milestone years with some great activities, fun and competitions.  Veronica McBain, Head of Fundraising and Lottery at St Barnabas, said “This year is very special for both ourselves and the Waterside Shopping Centre, so it is fantastic that we are able to come together and celebrate with the community. The wonderful display installed by Fizzco will help us raise more awareness of the work we do, as well as providing something fun for local shoppers.”

The decoration of the centre of both organisations was the idea of the Waterside Centre’s General Manager, Dean Cross, ‘St Barnabas have been our charity partner since 2018 and we wanted to celebrate both ours and St Barnabas milestone birthdays. Throughout the year we will have various activity in the centre with particular emphasis on fundraising, putting some ‘FUN’ into our fundraising.’

Along with the milestone birthday decorations, Fizzco, the decorations provider have also installed a large red heart. This will not only be a great opportunity for the romantics out there as part of their valentines celebrations to have a ‘selfie’ with their love or maybe a great spot for a proposal, this will also be an opportunity for many of us to remember a lost loved one, by ‘filling the heart’ with messages.
